Tirra Olufemi Hargrow

Olufemi is a Priestess of the Sacred Feminine Mysteries, a healer and diviner. As a light worker and daughter of the Goddess, her primary intention is to effect healing in the world by connecting others to the healing powers of the Great Mother. Olufemi's healing practice is in Tennessee .

Nyeemah Soul Sayer

Nyeemah has touched the hearts of many, from her home town of Milwaukee , where it all began to Paris , Belgium and Barcelona and so many places in between. Her music is a blend of elements that touch on a universal language from Spoken Word, Classic and Neo Soul, to driving Afro-Cuban percussion, Tibetan chants, Jazz, Blues, Hip Hop, and calming ethereal sounds."This music, the movement, the words, are from my soul, my spirit. Come on now and join me. Get all ten of your toes free and walk in the green grass with me, 'cause this light here is FREE”.

 

Erika Lateefah Davis

Erika is a Priestess of the Sacred Feminine Mysteries, wife, mother, sister, daughter, community volunteer and engineer. She is utilized by the Great Mother for healing, and as a gateway for others to commune with the greater universal patterns. Erika resides in Montgomery , Alabama .

 

Iya Osunnike Anke

Osunnike is a natural healer, spiritual midwife, seeress, founder and president of the Institute of Whole Life Healing . She is initiated into the ancient healing traditions as a Yoruba priestess of Osun and a Reiki Master and Teacher. Osunnike has additional training and talent in psycho-spiritual therapy, the creative and performing arts, inspirational and motivational seminars and lectures, and spiritually designed healing retreats.

 

Baba Nashid Koleoso Fakhrid-Deen

Koleoso is initiated in the West African Yoruba tradition as a priest of Shango and priest of Ifa (Babalawo) and is the CEO of the Institute of Whole Life Healing . He is an award winning author of several books, has been a college administrator for the past 30 years and conducts lectures, workshops around the world and offers private oracle readings.

 

Joan Brannon

Joan Brannon is a Sacred Drummer and Priestess of the Sacred Feminine Mysteries. She is the founder of the drumming collective, Sisters of the Sacred Drum . Joan has drummed in circles in Lexington , Los Angeles , Tennessee , El Paso and South Africa , and has performed at numerous cultural and community events and healing ceremonies using a variety of percussion instruments in her healing practice. She respects the drum as a sacred instrument that utilizes rhythms for tribal communication and celebration as a conduit for communicating with the Spirit Realm.

 

Medasi African Dance Theatre

Our mission is to restore psychological, spiritual, and economic stability within the African Family.  Sherah Khamisi, a cultural anthropologist and adjunct professor at Northern Kentucky University serves as the Artistic Director for Medasi.  Sherah has traveled to various countries to study the culture specifically through performance and visual arts, such as Senegal , Gambia , Mali , Burkina Faso , Kenya , Zimbabwe , South Africa , Madagascar , Australia , New Guinea , Argentina , Brazil , Cuba , and Fiji . Medasi instructs classes in many Cincinnati public, private, and charter after school programs.
 

 

Corinne LaReau

Corinne has a spiritual passion that guides her work as a yoga instructor and bodyworker. Many years ago Corinne's path led her to a spiritual home in Hawaii , and it was in that sacred environment, that the divine force revealed her life's purpose, which is to help one person at a time with love and compassion. Corinne now lives in Lexington with her 3 beautiful daughters and continues her sacred journey of healing and self-discovery through the healing arts.

  • Kathy Stein is the Kentucky State Representative for the 75th house district.
  • Bree Peasall is the Human Trafficking Outreach Advocate at the Bluegrass Rape Crisis Center in Lexington.
  • Judith Broadus is a licensed psychologist and the director of the Shambhala Meditation Center of Lexington, Kentucky.
  • Don Offutt is an assistant professor in the School of Education at Kentucky State University
  • Marissa Castellanos works with Catholic Charities of Louisville as the Program Manager of Kentucky Rescue and Restore Victims of Human Trafficking.
  • Aminata Cairo works for the University of Kentucky's Department of Community and Leadership Development and does community based research with Refugee and Latino migrant families.
  • Dr. José Pimienta-Bey is the Director of African & African American Studies at Berea College.
  • Lucinda Ramberg is an Assistant Professor in Gender & Women's Studies and Anthropology at the University of Kentucky.
